Corner Bathroom Cabinet
When planning the look of your bathroom, you are going to have take into
account your aesthetic taste, while at the same time trying to be practical. It also helps if you have a sense of
style. A corner bathroom cabinet can be a practical and beautiful addition to your bathroom.
Usually, a bathroom corner would be wasted, not being used for any particular
purpose. Sometimes, the sink counter goes all the way to the end of a wall, and so the corner stays empty for the
most part. Perhaps clothes are dumped there, but that looks quite unsightly. It would make sense to have a decent
hamper to put the clothes in.
Ideally, you should have a good idea of what you want your bathroom to look
like before it gets built. However, you may also have bought a house and all its fixtures second-hand, which would
limit your ability to really design your rooms as you really want them. However, renovation is always possible. If
you do decide for renovation, then feel free to be as creative as you want. This way, you can leave a corner empty,
for the sole purpose of having a cabinet in it.
In most cases, a cabinet is placed somewhere else in the bathroom, say, next
to the toilet or next to the shower. Which may seem fine and good enough, but it makes the bathroom look smaller.
By having all your supplies placed in a cabinet by the corner, you have more mobility around the bathroom, and it
also looks much neater.
You could also have your hamper inside the corner cabinet, if the hamper is
small enough for this. Either way, your bathroom will look neater and not depress you as much.
Another good idea is to have a small corner cabinet mounted in the shower
area. Having your shampoo and other items within reach at the corner of the shower area is another efficient way of
arranging your stuff in the bathroom.
The corner cabinet can also have a mirror on it. You can position your sink
so that it is also at the corner. This may seem unconventional compared to the usual sink and bathroom mirror next
to the door, but you may find a corner bathroom mirror to be much more suitable for you.
Instead of a corner cabinet, you can also simply have a corner bathroom
shelf, which serves pretty much the same purpose, apart from the lack of cabinet doors. Having two or three
platforms for the shelf can do a lot to save plenty of space in your bathroom. This economical manner of storing
your things will also prevent you from misplacing, say, your cotton buds, or the iodine.
So why should you have a corner bathroom cabinet? In the first place, it
looks really impressive. Second, it makes for very efficient use of space in the bathroom. You can see the big
difference when you have your corner furniture replacing the conventional shelf or cabinet.
